The trade surplus rebounded to RM12.62 billion, driven by high demand for manufactured goods (85.7% of total exports), particularly electrical and electronic (E&E) products.
Exports to ASEAN, the U.S., the EU, and Taiwan surged due to E&E demand, aligning with a projected 11.2% growth in global semiconductor sales. MITI remains committed to exploring new markets amid geopolitical challenges to sustain growth.
