In Kluang, three heavily pregnant Orang Asli women were airlifted to safety on March 22, 2025, as floods cut off land routes. The Royal Malaysia Police Air Operations Unit deployed a helicopter, manned by pilots ACP Faizul Muhammad and Inspector Mohd Luqmanulhakim Mansor, to rescue the women—36 to 38 weeks pregnant—from Kampung Orang Asli Peroh, Sedohok, and Puchor. The mercy mission, ending at 1 pm, delivered them to Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital. Nur Haliza Rosli, 22, and Norhamisah Bonel, 33, expressed relief, grateful to escape the rising waters and ensure safe deliveries, supported by 30 personnel across multiple agencies.
