During the last 10 days of Ramadan, it appears that the controversies are not stopping. Apparently, a woman was jailed for selling food to Muslims who are not fasting. Netizens are angry at such a thing happening to her as her aim is to quite literally sell food.

X users add that nobody knows what the buyers are going to do with their food as food can be reheated for later. They add that stores like KFC, McDonalds and other major establishments are completely overlooked, yet when a small independent business owner does the same, she gets penalised.
Furthermore, in the state of Terengganu, it is an offense under the sharia law, but an X user noted that if the food is consumed immediately, then only it is a confirmed offense.
