Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has suspended three enforcement officers following a scuffle with unlicensed balloon trader Muhamad Za’imuddin Azlan on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Mayor Maimunah Mohd Sharif announced the move on March 30 to ensure transparent internal and police investigations, after discussions with Federal Territories Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa. DBKL vows zero tolerance for misconduct eroding public trust, promising action if guilt is proven. The 29-year-old trader, now hospitalized, was visited by DBKL officials, who are considering covering his medical costs. The city hall urged the public to avoid speculation as probes continue.
