The Ministry of Communications confirmed that KL Tower’s concession acquisition by LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd (LSHSM) will not affect operations or workers. Employees of Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd will be offered jobs under LSHSM from April 1, 2025, based on the principle of “no less favourable.”

The concession was changed as the previous one expired. KL Tower remains government-owned, with management chosen through an open tender.
Five companies submitted proposals during the request for proposal (RFP) process. The new 20-year concession aims to ensure transparency and prevent monopolies in managing the world’s tallest communication tower.
