On April 1, 2025, Ratu Naga, a fiery Perikatan Nasional activist, took to Facebook, her words blazing with fury. “Tonight, another Bumiputera asset slips away!” she wrote. “For over 30 years, a Malay company has run Menara Kuala Lumpur, a tower built on historic ground, opened by Tun Mahathir in 1996. Now, the Madani government under Anwar Ibrahim hands it to Lim Seong Hai Bhd, a non-Malay firm!” She accused the administration of betraying Malay interests, citing Kampung Baru’s erosion as proof. “Are they blind or just indifferent?” she typed, demanding answers as her post sparked heated debate online. Meanwhile, Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd (KL:LSH), which has been slapped with a lawsuit by the former operator of Kuala Lumpur Tower, said that the claim against its subsidiaries is without merit and cannot be established.
