KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 — Two of three investigation papers stemming from a violent clash between a balloon vendor and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman have been forwarded to the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC). A third investigation, involving criminal intimidation under Section 506, awaits MCMC input. The incident, sparked by a March 28 raid, revealed the vendor’s 13 prior narcotic-related records. Meanwhile, sources revealed that the balloon vendor, known as “abang belon” by netizens, has 13 prior criminal records, mostly related to narcotics. “The suspect has been charged in connection with six of these cases,” the source said.
