The Democratic Action Party (DAP) established a relief fund to aid victims of the Putra Heights gas pipeline fire, following public requests. Secretary-General Anthony Loke criticized those condemning the initiative, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility from the government, private companies, and individuals.

Loke highlighted that the fund allows smaller contributions, enabling broader participation. The fire caused severe damage to 87 homes and affected 148 others. Loke urged critics to focus on helping victims rather than spreading negativity.
The relief effort has received support from corporations like Berjaya Corporation and Carsome, which donated funds and vehicles to assist victims.
