Kuala Lumpur, April 8, 2025 — LSH Service Masters Sdn Bhd (LSHSM), the new concessionaire for KL Tower, has been unable to start operations despite its 20-year contract beginning April 1. CEO Khairil Faizal Othman revealed that the previous concessionaire, Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd (MKLSB), barred nearly 40 employees, vendors, and subcontractors from entering the tower at midnight on April 1, obstructing LSHSM’s contractual obligations. Khairil Faizal lodged a report at Dang Wangi police headquarters, and the 193 staff members are currently working from home or at a temporary location. No court case management date has been set, delaying operations indefinitely.
