IPOH – MCA Youth aims to secure over 21% of Chinese voters for Barisan Nasional (BN) in the upcoming Ayer Kuning state by-election on April 26. MCA Information Chief Neow Choo Seong said the party’s machinery will work to convince more than 6,600 voters to support BN candidate Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir during the campaign starting Saturday. “We’re confident our candidate, chosen by top leadership, can win, but it requires relentless effort,” he said. MCA Youth, alongside BN Youth led by Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh, will focus on engaging young voters and countering opposition attacks, especially on social media.
