In Ningbo, Malaysia’s Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik stunned China’s top pair, Liang Wei Keng-Wang Chang, 21-12, 21-14, to reach the Badminton Asia Championships final. Defying a loud home crowd, the world No. 6 duo secured their third win in 11 clashes against the No. 3 seeds in just 31 minutes. They face China’s Chen Bo Yang-Liu Yi in tomorrow’s final, aiming to end a title drought since last November’s Korea Masters and claim the US$37,000 prize.
