PDRM Announces Road Closures for China President Xi Jinping’s Malaysia Visit

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) announced road closures and diversions across Klang Valley and Putrajaya from April 15 to 17 during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit. Seventeen major roads and highways, including ELITE and MEX Highways, will see closures lasting 30 to 45 minutes to ensure convoy safety.

Traffic will resume immediately after the delegation passes. JSPT director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri confirmed 378 officers will handle traffic and escort duties. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, avoid affected routes, and follow instructions issued by on-ground traffic personnel.
