MCMC to Assist Police in PKR Election Video Investigation
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil highlighted two key issues: a video alleging a candidate brandished a firearm, which the candidate denied, and a Facebook post spreading offensive content about a Perlis candidate.
Fahmi confirmed MCMC’s role as a technical analyst to identify accounts responsible for circulating the content. He assured thorough investigations and discussions with MCMC to address complaints and ensure accountability for the misuse of social media platforms.
