In Bachok, a 25-year-old man was arrested for posting insulting content about Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on his TikTok account, Matpakistan. Bachok Police Chief Supt. Mohamad Ismail Jamaluddin said the suspect called Anwar “Ketimbang” and “Bang Non,” alleging he attended an Aidilfitri event at Pantai Irama to deceive attendees. The man also urged a boycott, risking public unrest. Police seized his phone, uncovering pornographic content, and are investigating under Section 504 of the Penal Code, Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955.
