In a scathing Facebook post, former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad mocked PKR’s “Reformasi” tagline, accusing the government of becoming an oppressor. He claimed citizens live in fear, silenced on issues of race, religion, and royalty. “They cannot speak about Malay issues, Islam, or the royals,” he wrote, alleging whistleblowers face investigations without trials. Taking a jab at Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Mahathir criticized halted court cases and proposed judicial changes. “Reformasi – silencing the rakyat, that is re-4-masi Liau-Liau,” Mahathir added, lamenting a nation where free speech is stifled.
