UMNO Youth Chief Dr. Akmal Saleh hit back at a PKR grassroots member who warned against bringing “UMNO culture” into PKR, calling the comment hypocritical. Responding via Facebook, Akmal said corruption is about individuals, not parties, and those who are corrupt will remain so regardless of affiliation.
“When you’re full of s*** yourself but pretend to be virtuous and blame other political parties,” he said in a Facebook post.

His reaction followed remarks by former PKR Batu secretary Yuslaini Azmi, referencing a viral video allegedly showing PKR Srikandi member Fatin Izzaty Muhammad discussing cash handouts during party elections.
Fatin defended herself, saying the aid was personal support for local youth, not vote-buying. Akmal urged critics to self-reflect before accusing others.
