A 43-year-old police Inspector was arrested by Bukit Aman’s Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) for allegedly consuming drug-laced drinks at an entertainment centre in Pandan Perdana last Friday.

Acting on a public tip-off, authorities detained the officer at 5:05 PM. He later tested positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine, ketamine, and benzodiazepine. The officer reportedly admitted to consuming the drink and said the drugs were supplied by a local man at the venue.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the arrest, stating that the officer is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and has been remanded for two days.
