Susanna Liew, wife of missing Malaysian pastor Raymond Koh, hopes a High Court ruling by September 2025 will bring closure to his 2017 abduction. The family’s 2020 civil suit against the government and police, following Suhakam’s 2019 finding of an enforced disappearance by the Special Branch, seeks damages and accountability. No criminal charges have been filed. “We still do not know what happened to Raymond. It has been eight years,” Liew told FMT, bracing for potential appeals if they win. “We just have to give it to the Lord.” Hearings continue on April 28 and 29.
