A recent report states that 44% of HIV infections in Malaysia are HIV positive. This is a concerning number as the youngsters are appearing to be not entirely too informed of said disease. Now with the new trend of having open relationships, and/or having unprotected sexual relations could be the contributing factor in this.

Furthermore, most of the newly positive individuals are mostly university students and school students. Netizens state that this is the reason why sex education is important as many appear to be uninformed regarding the topic.
Others add that if one is unable to control themselves, thinking clearly by practicing safe sex is the best solution. But, some suggested that those who are succumbing to lust would probably also need religious guidance.
