Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh’s family lawyer, Sangeet Kaur Deo, alleges the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) pressured Pamela before her April 9 abduction. Despite cooperating fully during nine MACC appearances and facing no charges, Pamela endured a travel ban and monthly reporting. Two days before vanishing, she filed a judicial review, claiming MACC misused its powers to pressure her over disputes with her estranged husband. Sangeet criticized MACC’s silence on Pamela’s disappearance, noting suspects impersonated police near MACC’s headquarters. She questioned enforcement integrity and the lack of clarity on whether police were involved.
