Malaysian footballer Faisal Halim is deeply disappointed after the Attorney-General’s Chambers classified the investigation into his May 5, 2024, acid attack as “no further action” due to the police’s failure to identify a suspect, despite exhaustive efforts. Faisal’s legal team, Messrs Mohd Ashraf, Nik Zarith & Co, expressed his frustration, noting their proactive cooperation with police and appeals to key institutions, including the Dewan Rakyat Speaker and Home Ministry, for prioritized attention. The 26-year-old Selangor and national team star suffered severe injuries when an unknown assailant attacked him with acid outside a Klang Valley shopping mall.
