Four Singapore-based tour bus operators — Cityline Travel, Luxury Coach, WTS Travel, and Leo City Coach — have had their Malaysian permits revoked for breaching cross-border transport regulations. 

Coach Crackdown: Malaysia Revokes Licences of 4 Singapore Operators

Malaysia’s Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) said the companies were offering unauthorised express bus services and selling tickets online, which is prohibited for foreign operators. Such buses are only permitted to transport tourists on overnight trips with predefined itineraries. 

The companies have suspended their Malaysia-bound services, issued refunds, and are in discussions with authorities. APAD emphasised that only Malaysian-registered firms may run express services and sell individual bus tickets within Malaysia.
