Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim remains as PKR President unchallenged after the nomination period closed at 11:59 p.m. last night. The Deputy President post will see a head-to-head contest between his daughter, Nurul Izzah Anwar, and incumbent Rafizi Ramli. 

PKR 2025 Elections: Party Clashes Begin

Twelve candidates are vying for four Vice President positions, including several ministers and high-profile figures. 

The Youth Chief post went uncontested to Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, while the Women’s Chief race will be between Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek and Ampang MP Rodziah Ismail. Voting takes place on May 23, with the PKR National Congress set for May 21–24 in Johor Bahru.
