Speaking at a press conference after meeting the Sabah State Leadership Council, he urged candidates and supporters to uphold ethics and loyalty to the party’s reformist cause. Anwar emphasized unity, stating that all candidates are committed, whether they win or lose. “Don’t sow seeds of enmity,” he warned, acknowledging minor tensions as normal but urging against betrayal. He stressed that the competition is among loyal comrades, and unity must prevail post-election, like a family resolving misunderstandings.
