NEW: Aaron-Wooi Yik, Nor Farah Win Top Honours at 2024 National Sports Awards

PETALING JAYA, May 13 — Badminton duo Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik were named National Sportsman at the 2024 National Sports Awards, while lawn bowler Nor Farah Ain Abdullah took the National Sportswoman title. His Majesty, Sultan Ibrahim, presented the awards. Aaron-Wooi Yik were absent due to the Thailand Open. Paralympian Bonnie Bunyau Gustin and para bowler Hasmunirah Maliki also won top honours.

• Women’s Coach: Siti Rahmah Mohamed Nasir

• Sports Figure: Tun Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam

• Sports Leadership: Sunny Si Poh Heng, Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria

• Special Award: Johor Motorsport Racing Team, Malaysian Deaf Sports Association, Late Datuk Hasbullah Awang, Selangor Red Giants (e-sports)
