DAP’s Kluang MP Wong Shu Qi sharply rebuked PKR’s Subang MP Wong Chen for allegedly implicating DAP in his critique of money politics within Pakatan Harapan (PH). Chen lamented that former opposition parties, now in government, have embraced lavish events, drifting from their roots. Shu Qi countered, noting DAP’s March 16 congress was held at Shah Alam’s modest Ideal Convention Centre, sarcastically quipping, “Not exactly the Ritz.” She cautioned against misdirected criticism amid heated PKR leadership polls, urging unity. Chen had highlighted a “rotten political culture” in recent party elections, pointing to money politics.
