Fifteen Masjid Tanah PKR division office bearers, including deputy chief Sunar Misran and vice-chief Lee Kin Mio, resigned immediately after winning recent party polls, sources from Malacca and PKR headquarters told Malaysiakini. The resignations, confirmed received at 12:30 pm, stem from a loss of faith in division chief Halim Bachik’s leadership. The division faced a “body without the head” scenario, where Halim won the chief post, but his challenger’s allies secured other positions. PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh said she could not verify the resignations, as she had not yet reviewed the letters.
