Sharing a video on Facebook, Mahathir acknowledged the shift away from corporal punishment but stressed the enduring link between teachers and discipline. He praised educators for shaping children’s futures and instilling values beyond academics. “If you listen to the teacher, life will be organised and successful,” he said, paying tribute to teachers as vital architects of the nation’s future.
