Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) aims to contest at least 40 DUN seats in the upcoming 17th Sabah State Election, signalling its intent to dominate potential political alliances. Political analysts says this a strategic move to strengthen GRS’s position within coalitions like Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN). Meanwhile, final decisions regarding an alliance in Sabah between GRS, PH and BN is awaiting a supreme council meeting post-Pesta Kaamatan.
