Social media users rushed in saying now the President understands that these corporate companies are not his ‘friends.’ They’d most definitely pass on any additional losses to their consumers, as what most businesses in this world would do, despite making billions.
Others are confused with the situation. They state that the company claims they make 75% of their goods in the US, hence the tariffs should not affect them. However, some users responded by claiming that the raw materials used to make a ‘Made in USA’ product are tariffed.
