A 26-year-old man was arrested in Taman Sri Gadong for using a school van to transport untaxed alcohol during a noon raid by the Marine Intelligence Unit of the Marine Police Force (PPM) Port Klang. Authorities discovered him transferring boxes of liquor from a lorry into the van.

In total, 56 boxes and 30 crates of alcoholic beverages, worth RM10,664.40 and with tax valued at RM36,889.57, were seized. Both vehicles involved were valued at RM70,000, bringing the total seizure to RM117,553.97. The suspect, linked to a distribution network in Klang, is being investigated under several laws including the Customs Act 1967.
