E-hailing driver Kok reported that Datin Seri Pamela Ling was abducted by impostors posing as police during a ride.

SHAH ALAM: Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan dismissed a viral claim linking a body found in Petaling Jaya to missing Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh as false, confirming no such police report exists. Spreading fake news is an offence under Section 233(1)(a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, punishable by a RM50,000 fine or one-year imprisonment. Police urge the public to rely on official sources. Pamela, missing since April 9, remains untraced, with investigations exploring her possible abduction by imposters posing as police. Twenty-seven witness statements have been recorded.
