PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal rejected Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin and wife Datin Seri Zizie Izette Abdul Samad’s application to review a ruling ordering them to defend three corruption charges involving RM2.8 million. Justice Che Ruzima Ghazali said the review threshold was not met, as alternative remedies exist via High Court appeal if convicted. The couple, charged in 2019 over bribes linked to a RM150 million Felcra investment, faces a nine-day trial starting August 18, 2025, after their 2023 acquittal was overturned.
