KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will summon Datuk Jovian Mandagie, former son-in-law of ex-Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, for questioning in a corruption probe. MACC chief Tan Sri Azam Baki said Jovian, now in Indonesia, is needed to assist the investigation into RM700 million linked to the “Keluarga Malaysia” campaign. Ismail Sabri, a suspect, declared assets on February 10. MACC seized RM170 million and gold bars in March. The probe, under the MACC Act 2009 and AMLATFA 2001, is set to conclude by June 2025.
