Gerakan president Dominic Lau has demanded Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Harapan (PH) formally apologise to Teoh Beng Hock’s family after authorities classified the reopened probe into the former DAP aide’s 2009 death as “No Further Action” (NFA). Lau condemned PH for exploiting Teoh’s tragedy for political gain, offering “empty promises” during elections while failing to deliver justice despite holding power twice. He proposed an independent commission to review the police’s handling of the case, urging DAP leaders, including Lim Guan Eng, to reflect on unfulfilled pledges. Lau stressed that the truth behind Teoh’s death remains unresolved, disappointing his family and Malaysians.
