The Terengganu branch of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) seized 15,455 litres of diesel worth RM44,819.50 during a raid at a construction site in Merang. The operation, conducted under Ops Tiris 3.0, followed two weeks of intelligence gathering.

Officials found a large skid tank of diesel without any authorisation or permit. The case is now under investigation for violations of the Control of Supplies Act 1961.
KPDN Terengganu director Mohd Mufsi Lat warned that the ministry will take stern action against any individuals or suppliers misappropriating controlled goods like fuel.
