Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has ruled out immediate Cabinet reshuffles following the resignations of Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad. Speaking to Free Malaysia Today, Anwar noted that both ministers, on leave until June 16 and July 3 respectively, cannot be replaced yet. Their resignations, effective June 17 and July 4, follow losses in the 2025 PKR elections. Despite Anwar’s earlier stance against reshuffling based on party polls, Rafizi called resigning principled. Anwar also faces replacing Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz, whose senator term ends in December.
