KUALA LUMPUR: 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd announced the resignation of its chairman, Farhash Wafa Salvador, effective May 30, 2025. The 42-year-old, who joined the board as non-independent non-executive chairman on January 3, 2023, stepped down to pursue other business interests, according to a Bursa Malaysia filing. Farhash holds a Master of Science in Finance (Merit) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Portsmouth, UK. His departure marks a significant change for the convenience store giant as it navigates future leadership transitions. Farhash is a former political secretary to Anwar Ibrahim.
