Fahmi, who lost the Petaling Jaya deputy branch chief position to incumbent Ahmad Akhir Pawan Chik (2,684 vs. 2,819 votes), cited concerns over the transparency and process of the election, mirroring issues raised by PKR Communications Director Lee Chean Chung. The matter is settled. He lost.
