SHAH ALAM, June 1, 2025 — Kota Raja PKR deputy chief Danish Hairudin defended deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar’s support for continuing Rafizi Ramli’s reformist policies, calling UMNO leader Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi’s criticism unwarranted. Danish labeled Puad’s remarks, which questioned Rafizi’s contributions and called Nurul Izzah’s stance “political drama,” as shallow and reflective of fear toward principled politics. He urged Puad to focus on strengthening UMNO instead of meddling in PKR’s internal affairs. Danish emphasized respecting party autonomy to maintain unity within the Perpaduan coalition, advocating for younger, reformist voices like Nurul Izzah’s.
