PETALING JAYA: A well-known actor and singer was detained by police for alleged sexual misconduct involving a 17-year-old girl at a hotel in Selangor. The teenager reportedly met the celebrity at a café where she worked, and they met several times before the incident. According to Senior Assistant Commissioner Siti Kamsiah Hassan of Bukit Aman’s D11 unit, the suspect committed physical sexual misconduct during a hotel meeting. He has been released on police bail while investigations continue. The case is being investigated under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 (Act 792).
