JELI, June 8 — The Defence Ministry has pinpointed health issues and job commitments as key reasons for the absence of 206 participants from the National Service Training Programme (PLKN) 3.0 in May. Deputy Defence Minister Adly Zahari, speaking after the Jeli district Madani Village Veterans programme, said the ministry is conducting a thorough assessment to address these challenges. Despite direct communication with trainees, registration remains low. Adly noted the ministry is reviewing reports and justifications for absences, with enforcement under the National Service Training Act 2003 as a last resort. A comprehensive investigation aims to resolve the issues.
