SHAH ALAM, June 9, 2025 — Selangor Pemuda PAS chief Mohamed Sukri Omar has lambasted the government’s inconsistent policy on banning subsidised LPG for small food and beverage operators, calling it confusing and oppressive. He argued the contradictory statements reveal the government’s failure to address people’s basic needs, burdening small traders like hawkers and stall owners who rely on affordable LPG. Sukri labeled the policy unjust, lacking humanity, and harmful to the backbone of the people’s economy. He urged the government to reinstate subsidies and warned of public awareness campaigns if the ban persists, vowing to champion the oppressed.
