The Education Ministry will integrate its current reform agenda with the upcoming Malaysia Education Development Plan (PPPM) 2026–2035 to ensure long-term educational improvements. Education Director-General Datuk Azman Adnan said the ongoing reforms, now in their second year, aim to align with both national priorities and global trends.
Malaysia Targets 2035 with Bold Education Reform Strategy
The focus is on six key areas: curriculum intervention, preschool alignment, STEM, digital learning, TVET, and language proficiency. With over 400,000 teachers serving more than 10,000 schools, the ministry is conducting nationwide engagements and school visits to implement these reforms for the benefit of 5.2 million students nationwide.
