Malaysia and Poland have committed to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors, including education, culture, tourism, law enforcement, and global security, following Polish President Andrzej Duda’s first official visit to Malaysia.

In a joint statement with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, both leaders pledged to combat organised crime, illegal immigration, and human trafficking, while strengthening ties in higher education, research, and cultural heritage.
They also supported improving air connectivity to boost tourism and trade. Duda thanked Malaysia for backing Poland’s accession to the ASEAN Treaty of Amity and Cooperation. Bilateral trade hit US$1.33 billion in 2024, up 19.5% from the previous year.
