Anwar chides critics, saying they are blind to facts and reality on reforms

“Bagi mereka yang tidak sabar dan mahu cepat, mereka sering buta terhadap fakta dan realiti.” – PM Anwar Ibrahim

KUALA LUMPUR, June 11, 2025 – PM Anwar Ibrahim, addressing complaints about slow reforms (coming from his own MPs), said he is pushing the agenda but emphasized it requires time and broader support. Speaking at the i-Rise launch, he noted Pakatan Harapan’s 81 seats in Parliament necessitate coalition-building with Barisan Nasional, Gabungan Parti Sarawak, and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah. Anwar stressed the need for wisdom and consensus, warning that hasty reforms could destabilize the government. He acknowledged impatience among some but insisted reforms are progressing monthly.

“For those who are impatient and want things quickly, they are often blind to the facts and reality.” – PM Anwar Ibrahim on Reforms
