In Q1 2025, Malaysia secured RM89.8 billion in approved investments, creating over 33,300 jobs. The minister also highlighted upcoming talks with the US to reduce high tariffs on Malaysian goods.
Tengku Zafrul emphasized that Malaysia complements—not competes with—US business interests, and remains committed to enforcing fair trade practices amid shifting global dynamics.
