Motorcyclists Killed at Red Light in Temerloh; Driver Detained Over Narcotics

Two 18-year-old girls, Nur Irdina Shaffiya Muhammad Nazri and Aneez Irdiena Sofya Khairul Azman, were killed instantly when their motorcycle was rear-ended by a car at a traffic light on Jalan Tengku Ismail, Temerloh, around 11pm.

The car’s driver, a 38-year-old man from Kepong, has been detained after police found drugs—suspected syabu and heroin worth over RM6,000—in his vehicle. He is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. The bodies of the victims have been sent to Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital for post-mortem examination.
