Police in Muallim, Perak, are investigating the discovery of a body found hanging from a tree just 10 meters from a main road in a palm oil plantation at Felda Gunung Besout 2, Sungkai. District Police Chief Mohd Hasni Bin Mohd Nasir said the report was received around 5:13pm on June 15.

No identification documents were found, but a bra, a blue slipper, and a “thali” necklace—typically worn by married Hindu women—were recovered nearby. The body has been sent to Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun for autopsy. The case is currently classified as sudden death, pending further forensic findings.
