Zaid Ibrahim Praises PAS: They will not destroy durian farms and they will protect whistleblowers

Former law minister Zaid Ibrahim reaffirmed his support for PAS, highlighting their commitment to Malaysians’ well-being. He cited PAS’s approach to the Raub durian farm dispute, where they would negotiate rather than destroy farmers’ 30-year-old Musang King trees to assert dominance.

Zaid also defended PAS’s stance on the Sabah corruption scandal, noting they would protect genuine whistleblowers from prosecution over legal technicalities, prioritizing public interest and moral justice. He praised PAS members’ “genuine fear of God” as a key asset, contrasting it with past leaders’ incompetence and greed-driven power abuse.
